ABOUT US

Volcop has been established with the main goal of creating new opportunities in the Community of Nyabukara, Uganda. We cooperate with local people to embrace their culture and provide tools for its own development rather than trying to adapt it to our own personal preferences.

According to the UN (United Nations), human rights are rights inherent to all human beings, regardless of race, sex, nationality, ethnicity, language, religion, economic status or any other condition. Human rights include the right to life and liberty, freedom from slavery and torture, freedom of opinion and expression, the right to work and education, and many more. Those who don’t get to exercise these basic human rights are vulnerable and defenseless.

Volcop works by empowering the community with the aim of not needing it in the future, but rather after a period of time, live a decent life and being self-sustaining.

Currently in 2020 Volcop is working with 53 families and 74 children.
