WHO WE ARE

We work with a professional team in Uganda, composed of young Ugandan people who live and work in Kyamukerege Village. We know most families in the parish, which helps us to connect to them on a personal level and make Volcop a close community, making it more than just an organization.

- Natukunda Catherine, better known as Cathy, founder and director of Volcop Uganda. At the age of 23, she finished her university studies in Business Administraion and Management and started working with us.

- Musabe John responsible of monitoring each child's education, coordinating volunteers during support classes and helping as an interpreter during the adult classes. At present, he is pursuing his studies to become a qualified teacher. He also collaborates with family visits and the construction program where we build houses, kitchens and latrines.

- Aruto Angela comes from Soroti and graduated in Business Administration and Management at Nkumba University. Angela is the responsible for the management and administration of Volcop, especially the scholarship and handicraft programs. She speaks four languages: Teso, Rutooro, Luganda and English which makes her an crucial team member to enable fluent communication between families and volunteers.

- Bagonza Peter lives in Kyamukerege. He co-ordinates and actively participates in the construction of houses, kitchens and latrines for the families of the Parish. He executes tasks and teach the volunteers to do so. Peter is decisive, effective, hardworking and dedicated towards his work.
